Contreras Finding Elusive Consistency

Jose Contreras remains on fire, piching another 7.2 innings of scorless ball last night in a 1-0 win over the Royals. Dude has been on fire the last few weeks (dare I say, consistent) and is demanding to be looked at for a spot in the playoff rotation.

Of course, the Unknown Column could probably pitch 7.2 innings of scorless ball against the lowly Royals, but whatever.

Do it for Cuba, Jose!

Damaso Marte continues to frighten me in the bullpen. I love the live lefty arm and all, but hitting TWO guys in a row to open the top of the ninth? Come on now.
