Tonight's Likes

Bulls (+3.5) at 76ers. I'm riding the Bulls, baby, for as long as they'll take me. They've won three in a row and are covering spreads all over the place. Last night was their craziest, biggest win in a while, coming back from 17 points down in the fourth quarter and beating the Pacers largely courtesy of some Ben Gordon heroics reminiscint of last year. Of course, there is the matter of why the Bulls were so far behind in the first place to a horribly slumping Pacers team, but let's not think about that for now.

I happened to catch this game on the radio and I don't think Neil Funk has had that much fun in who knows how long. At one point he was accusing Stephen Jackson of intentionally rifling a pass at Peja Stojakovic's feet because he didn't want Peja to score. Crazy? Would Jackson do that? Jackson just might do that. Who knows? But if there is a bigger homer radio man in sports than Funk, I'd like to see it. Funk straight-up laughs at opposing teams, openly ridiculing them all the while, and it's some funny shit. The Pacers nearly made Funk bust a gut last night.

The Bulls are a half game behind the Sixers, whom they play tonight and Friday, for the final playoff spot.

Here we go now.

Cavs (-7) at Knicks

Celtics (PK) Wizards

April record: 4-3
